Pilipinas Ngayon Na Business and Lifestyle Magazine were first published as a quarterly national newspaper tabloid in December 2005. Former President Fidel V. Ramos, then-President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, and Franklin Drilon, then-Senate President, were among its first cover feature story with a title: “Shall We Dance Cha-Cha?” It was in the said publication where then-Press Secretary Ignacio R. Bunye’s column, “View from the Palace”, was first published. Now Senator Manny Pacquiao, who has just then won a rematch against Eric Morales and Precious Lara Quigaman (now, Alcaraz) Miss International 2005, where its feature cover story in its October 2005 issue. Manny Pacquiao, later on, became a Congressman and Senator. Subsequently, it has evolved into a magazine format distributed internationally.
Then-President, who later became Speaker of the House of Representatives, Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo was its cover story on its August 2006 issue during her State of the Nation address. Among those who were featured in its succeeding publications was then-Mayor Feliciano “Sonny” R. Belmonte, Jr., of Quezon City in its October 2006 publication. Belmonte, later on, became a Congressman and Speaker of the House of Representatives. In its July 2007 issue, the magazine featured Hermogenes Edger “Jun” Ebdani, Jr., then-Secretary of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), he, later on, became the Governor of Zambales after his stint at the DPWH.
Today, after more than a decade, Pilipinas Ngayon Na transformed into a business and lifestyle magazine in a full-color glossy paper being distributed nationwide and in Los Angeles, San Diego, and Las Vegas, United States of America. It was re-launched on November 30, 2017, at Aloha Hotel in Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City. On March 24, 2019, its special international Los Angeles edition was re-launched at L.A. Rose Café, Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, with President Rodrigo Roa Duterte and Special Assistant to the President, Bong Go, as its feature cover story. Corazon Ugalde Yellen Armenta, the 2019 Mrs. Asia USA California was featured as its flipside cover story.
The magazine is being re-distributed online after each publication at the social media site of Publisher Robert T. Rivera, on Facebook, YouTube and as a Digital book on RPN Website. It is also being complemented by a live stream broadcast of Pilipinas Ngayon Na TeleRadyo Program at DWIZ 882 kHz of Aliw Broadcasting Corporation and RPN every Monday and Wednesdays from 1:00 to 2:00 in the afternoon, Philippine time.
